Small Groups Sign Up 2018-05-16T11:36:09-05:00

Summer Semester Launches on June 3rd!

Life is not meant to be lived alone. You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at Sumiton Church of God, we encourage you to get into a small group.

A small group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, workplace, online, anywhere. In a group you’ll hang out, study the Word, and pray together. The best way to experience a small group is to start one of your own. It’s simple! Just grab two friends, find a place to meet, and you’re good to go!

The 2018 Summer small group leader sign-up begins now and must be entered by May 23rd to be added to the printed directory.

Common Questions

The goal of joining a small group is to grow in your walk with Jesus around people that can support you in taking your next steps. We believe life is better when you live in community. There are Group options available for Married, Couples, Students, Men’s and Women’s. We want to help you find the best fit.
Not all Groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare. Some groups will split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements.
Groups meet in homes, restaurants, the church, and parks. We will help you find a group near you by providing a map of available groups on the online directory.
Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some choose to meet every week, bi-weekly, or once a month.

Our directory below has details on the day, time, and how often each group meets.
